Does it snow at monterey bay?

Snow is extremely rare in Monterey Bay due to its mild coastal climate. The region typically experiences mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers, with temperatures rarely dropping low enough for snow. While it may occasionally snow in the nearby mountainous areas, such as the Santa Lucia Range, snowfall in the immediate coastal area of Monterey Bay is virtually nonexistent.
