What are the two parts of Islam?

THE Quran is divided into thirty parts for ease of recital, the idea being if you recite one part per day you could complete the recitation in one month.

BUT that is only for the sake convienience.

I think you were trying to refer to the Meccan revelation and Medinian revelation.

WELL some parts of the Quran and even some whole chapters were revealed in Mecca and ohers in Medina.

However the present day Quran is not divided into two such parts. MANY chapters cotain verses from both MECCAN AND MEDINIAN PERIOD.
