Where did operation enduring freedom take place?

Operation Enduring Freedom began on October 7, 2001, with air strikes on Taliban targets. The first ground action taken by OEF was acknowledged to have occurred on October 19, less than 2 weeks later. Barack Obama made his first visit to Afghanistan as president on the 28th of March in 2010. He has also stated that the combat mission will end in December 2014.
