How-to renew your Red Cross Instructor Certification?

You must teach a class at least once during your period of certification, or before your expiration date. Also, for CPR your card is only certified for 1 year so you must teach a class in CPR annually. If you teach at least 1 class per year, your instructor card should be automatically renewed by your chapter of authorization. If you have not taught a class, you will need to get with an IT before your card expires to refresh before your card will be renewed.
