How many players in french open tennis?

Final - 2 players

Semi Final - 4 players

Quarter final - 8 players

4th round - 16 players

3rd round - 32 players

2nd round - 64 players

1st round - 128 players

Seems surprising to myself when I worked it out, but you have to start with 128 to have this many rounds and win 7 matches to become the champion.
