What happens if your ipod touch wont turn on?

It's probally because your iPod touch is in shut down mode. To unlock it, you have to hold your home screen button and on/off (wake/sleep) button at the same time, by pressing them together, wait until it shows the "Apple sign" then wait a few minutes than it will unlock.
