Is it illegal to have tattoos on face and neck in the us?

From where I stand as a US citizen with many tattoos, it is legal to have tattoos on any section of your body. From common sense, I would suppose if you where in places such as Wal-mart and had "F@#$ you" on your face, they may ask you to leave.

Also when it comes to getting a job, employers may not have the right to say you can't work there for being a different race, but if you have a tattoo on your cheek or neck, they do have the right to deny you employment.

Over all, I recommend receiving a tattoo in areas where it is easily covered. Try to stray away from these areas:

• Hands
• Face
• Necks
• Wrist
• Forearms

Where I do recommend receiving them are:

• Biceps/triceps
• Back
• Legs
• Chest/stomach
• Any area covered by everyday clothing (T-Shirts and pants)
