Answering my own question here. After reading other info concerning the non-corrosion goop put on the terminals, I cleaned them off and the car fired right up, now I just need to get the code for the radio. 1. check to make sure you have enough battery power to crank engine. Turn lights on to bright then blow horn. If bright lights turn on and horn blows loud the battery is good. 2. check fuse box to see if there are any blown fuse, replace them with correct value. turn ignition key to on position if the dash lights do not light up the ignition switch may be bad. 3. make sure battery connection to the starter is good, if good check starter. jump starter directly. if starter does not turn then either starter may be bad or the engine may be locked up (seized up). 4. take a wrench and place on crank shaft bolt and turn engine. If engine will not turn you have engine problems. If engine turns then it is most likely the starter. remove starter and jump starter, it should spin. if not take to auto shop for them to est and most likely buy another starter. JQ
