Is it legal to hit the birdie after it bounced one time?

In Badminton, it is not legal to hit the shuttlecock (birdie) after it has bounced on the ground. The game requires players to strike the shuttlecock before it touches the ground, and doing so results in a loss of the rally. Therefore, once the shuttlecock has bounced, the point is considered over.
