What lesson or moral was learned in Just Listen?

In just listen, the moral of the story is honesty and telling the truth. Owen is brutally honest even of it hurts people. Annabel, can't seem to be hornet with herself and she does not seem to admit to herself that she was raped at a party. Owen finally gets it out of her and she was finally being honest to herself and the people around her.
