How would you go about telling your girlfriend you're gay and want to be with someone else?

Assuming you are male, simply tell her. She probably won't take it very well, but the truth is better than letting her think there is a chance of a relationship. Tell her it has nothing to do with her, but you have come to realize that you are gay.
