To tension the drive chain on a Bombardier DS650, first, place the ATV on a flat surface and elevate the rear wheels. Loosen the axle nuts and adjust the chain tension by turning the adjuster bolts on both sides of the swingarm until the desired tension is achieved, typically around 1-1.5 inches of slack. Once properly tensioned, re-tighten the axle nuts and double-check the chain alignment before lowering the ATV back to the ground. Always ensure the chain is lubricated and in good condition for optimal performance.
