Can you sue if the sheriff towed your car and it got salvaged?

depends on the reason. if it was over 30 days after a letter came saying it would be theirs, then no you cannot sue. If you never paid bills for it being towed, then well, it kinda depends. is it really salvaged or is it in impound? If you wait so long, they can claim it as an abandoned vehicle and then you have 30 days to claim it, if you dont do so, it is then Thier property i believe.
