Why Aldous Huxley called man of ideas?

Aldous Huxley was an English writer best known for his novel Brave New World, a Dystopia often compared to George Orwell's 1984. Aldous Huxley published short stories, poetry, film stories and scripts. He also was active in parapsychology, philosophical mysticism, and psychedelics. He was regarded as a prominent intellectual exploring theories of visual communication. His brother, Julian Huxley once said, "...his uniqueness lay in his universalism. He was able to take all knowledge for his province."
