Most likely your clock is set incorrectly. If you told it to come on at 9 pm but it comes on at 9:15 am, then your clock needs to be set to the correct time.

Some DVRs get a time signal from the cable company or satellite. If this is the case, you need to set your time zone on the DVR. Satellites run on Coordinated Universal Time (the time on the Prime Meridian that runs through Greenwich, England). Some cable companies may also run in a different time zone, which will put your start-stop times off by an hour or more.

If you continue to have problems, turn off the Auto Time Set option and set the time manually.
