Princess Diana will be remembered for her (in no particular order):
- beauty but shy awkwardness of her youth
- being a small town girl swept off by a Prince
- the beautiful wedding and wedding gown with long train
- spunky attitude, and being willing to go against the status quo
- the strife between the Queen's family and Diana
- humanitarian work with children and her willingness to physically touch ill / poor or what many would call "untouchables" in some societies
- quiet shy demeanor which hid her intelligence and compassion
- the messages delivered in her speeches; her soft speaking voice
- tragic death (or murder, depending on the version of story)
- that she died far too young
- conspiracy theories surrounding her death
- that no one's ever been held accountable for her death
- the public outcry and backlash against photographers who chase celebrities
- the public's collective memory of her two young sons walking in the funeral procession (a sad collective memory)
- how her sons have grown into fine men, and the world seeing her first grandbaby
