Who do we called person that hunts animals?

We usually call them a hunter- although sometimes it they may be called:

huntress - if female

deerstalker - if that's what they are hunting

huntsman/huntswoman

sportsman/sportswoman

poacher - if doing it illegally

woodsman - because hunting is part of what they usually do

forager - although this really covers someone hunting for any kind of food - both animal and plant

jaeger - from the German term

rifleman - if that's what they are using to hunt

marksman/markswoman - if they are a really good shot
