If somthing is made up of one atom what is it called?

A substance made up of only one type of atom is called an "element." Elements are the basic building blocks of matter and are listed in the Periodic Table. Each element is defined by the number of protons in its atomic nucleus. For example, hydrogen is an element composed of single hydrogen atoms.
