How do you handle an abusive boss?

It depends on the nature of the "abuse". If the boss is hard on people, demanding, arrogant, loud, etc. you can a) live with it, b) talk to the boss explaining that his or her methods are de-motivating and ask for more respectful treatment, or c) quit or ask for a transfer. If the boss is truly abusive in an illegal way

• physically or sexually, you should follow company procedures for

such a situation. If there are no company procedures, document and report the instances to his or her supervisor.
