Do we come across vampires in our day to day life?

In reality we do not come across vampires because they do not exist. They are creatures of myth and folklore.

But signs of these fictitious beings are all around us with novels, stories, movies, TV series etc. The subject of the vampire myth has always been popular. The novel "Dracula" was published in 1897, and yet even today, the novel and the personality of the Count himself are uppermost in the public's imagination.

Now we have the Twilight novels and movies, which have introduced the vampire genre to a younger, teen audience.

The vampire is an exciting being, it is no surprise that there are so many around us on nights like Hallowe'en (that's half the neighbourhood dressed up like one!).
