Why should fossil fuels be used judiciously?

We need to use fossils fuels judicially for the following reasons:

To preserve them for future generation as these resources are limited in nature.

These take millions of years to form again like coal, petrol.

The indiscriminate use of fossil fuels like coal , petrol degrades our environment causing water, air pollution and green house effect.
