Second, you must be good with people and able to work well with others.

Third, you must be able to communicate well and you must be able to manage the pit.

Fourth, you must be well versed in all the gaming regulations of the state you work in.

Fifth, you must be able to spot potential problems with players and employees and be able to stop any problems before they happen.

Last, but not least, you must be knowledgeable in things like security, problem gambling, spotting cheating, math, and topping the list public relations.
