Why do people visit other countries?

Sometimes, people visit Another Country as tourists, to learn more about it and to see the sights; in some cases, they visit because they have a friend in that country. Other people visit a foreign country because of their job-- a number of companies have offices in various locations, and an employee from the United States might visit the office in England or France or wherever.
