How can you get your nose hoop in.. I just bought one and it is just a ring but has a ball attaching both sides together and I have no idea how to get it open so that I can put it in please help?

That sounds like a captive bead/ball ring. The easiest thing is to look up videos on YouTube explaining how its done. Try just pushing the ball out. What works best for me is to put my nail between the ball and one end of the ring then pop the ball out. You might need to use pliers to open/close the ring if its too tight and the ball wont budge or if it isnt wide enough to fit your nose. Using CBRs takes a lot of patience so good luck!! :)
