Does a composite number always have more than two factors?

Yes. A composite number will have 1 and itself as factors, as well as the prime numbers and possibly multiples of those prime numbers that can be multiplied together to obtain the composite number.

Examples:

There are three factors of 4: 1, 2, and 4.

There are four factors of 6: 1, 2, 3, and 6.

There are six factors of 20: 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, and 20.
