Why the twin towers were not rebuilt?

Well... No one really knows but I think its because the Twin Towers are something unique. I wish they did rebuild the Twin Towers. I was so little when 911 happened... I would've loved to see them. It would be so cool if they did, but at least they are building something where the Twin Towers were. I hope you like my answer!!
