Is Christmas religious

Christmas does have a religious background. It is a celebration of the birth of Christ. However, it has become more secular through the years for some groups. Although there are still plenty of people that see it as a holy day, there are a lot of people that use the day to get together with family and friends to celebrate and/or exchange gifts.
