What nation resisted Hitler?

Many nations "tried" to resist Hitler's invasion of Western Europe. The main resisters were France and England. Norway also tried to keep free, but failed. Sweden declared neutrality so they were out of the picture, although Hitler had no respect for neutral nations.France lost its battle versus Hitler very quickly to the surprise of many.
