Who was queen amytis?

Queen Amytis was a Persian queen, known primarily as the wife of King Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon. She is often associated with the legend of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, which were said to have been built for her to alleviate her homesickness for the green hills and valleys of her native Media. Her story highlights the cultural exchanges between the Medes and Babylonians during this historical period.
