What are the Advantages and disadvantages of pointing devices?

Advantages

2. Moves cursor around the screen faster than using keystrokes.

3. Take less space as compare to non pointing input device like keyboard.

Disadvantages

1. Data insertion through pointing devices is not possible or very difficult.

2. They are useless on command driven interfaces.
