To unfold an SKS bayonet, first ensure the rifle is pointed in a safe direction. Locate the bayonet latch, typically found on the left side of the bayonet housing. Press the latch down while simultaneously pulling the bayonet outward until it locks into place. To fold it back, press the latch again and push the bayonet back into its housing until it clicks securely.
