What is the difference between a pedophile and a rapist?

Pedophiles are people with a sexual attraction to young children, where a rapist has raped someone regardless of their age. In general, a rapist is someone who has made a choice and did something sexually abusive to someone, where a pedophilic individual is someone who is sexually attracted to children through no fault of their own.
