What is on the back of 1941 dime?

A fasces mixed with an olive branch shows both that United States are prepared for the war and their desire for peace. It is accompanied with the motto "E • PLURIBUS UNUM" and surrounded with the facial value and the lettering "UNITED • STATES • OF • AMERICA"

Note: A fasces is a bundle or rods around an axe.

Used in Roman times for punishment - the rods were used for beatings for minor offences, the axe was for severe offences.
