How do you decompose recycled and non recycled paper?

Recycled paper is decomposed through a mechanical and chemical process involving pulping, where water and chemicals break down the paper fibers. This results in a slurry that can be cleaned and de-inked to produce new paper products. Non-recycled paper decomposes more slowly, as it often contains inks and additives that hinder biodegradation; however, it can still break down naturally over time in a composting environment.
