A slip stitch in crochet is one of the simplest stitches besides the chain.
How to do/perform the slip stitch
- Insert the hook end of the needle into a stitch from the previous row (or chain).
- Wrap the yarn around the hook by wrapping it up and over.
- Use the hook to pull the yarn that was just wrapped through both of the other loops on the hook.
