Why do 2 male dogs hump each other?

This is a display of dominance. The one who eventually gives up and lies down on his back with eyes diverted has submitted to the other. The "humping" ritual between the males is a friendly "fight" if you will over who is boss!! There is nothing sexual with this at all, and there is no such thing as homosexual dogs either. No worries!
