Was Troy an Asiatic civilization

Troy was a city on the Mediterranean Sea which lies between Europe, Africa and Asia. The site of ancient Troy as located by Schlieman is in present day Turkey.…specifically on the Dardanelles in Anatolia. In ancient times, the Dardanelles was considered the border between Europe and Asia Minor.
