How large is the metropolitan museum?

The Metropolitan Museum is 12,000 square feet with many different periods and floors of artwork. Their latest is a Middle Eastern collection from Syria, Turkey, Morocco, and Persia. They even have an actual 'Praying Wall' that was in a home. The pieces are exquisite and some date back to 1100A.D. The intricate details in every piece are clearly visible. Great care was taken in restoring this rich history. Truly breathtaking and worth a trip to New York City.
