What does the term TEXT mean?

Text means to make a sentence or phrase but in a different form. For example, if you want to say, ''I got to go I am tired how about you,'' you say ,'' i g2g i am tired hbu?'' When saying this you have abbreviated Words and included numbers in your sentence. You don't necessarily have to include numbers but, you do include abbreviations.
