Did Malcolm X get an honorary degree?

Malcolm X did not receive an honorary degree during his lifetime. However, posthumously, several institutions have recognized his contributions to civil rights and social justice by awarding him honorary degrees. For example, in 1992, he was awarded an honorary degree from the University of the District of Columbia.
