What effect does long term gel nails have on your own nails?

All they do is make your real nail a little bit weak but its easy fix just use a few coats of nail strengthner and put it on and it makes them really long depending on how long you have them for

i get gel nails lots and this is what i do and my nails are fine with no cracks
