What do you call someone that sells fruits and vegetables that is not business?

Someone who sells fruits and vegetables but is not operating a formal business can be referred to as a "vendor" or "street vendor." They may also be called a "farmer's market seller" if they sell at such markets, or simply a "produce seller." If they grow their own products, they might be referred to as a "gardener" or "grower" as well.
