What do you do if a boy tells you he likes you?

If you like that boy who likes you then tell him that you like him too and just start talking and hanging out. if you don't like him then tell him that you are either not ready to date or tell him that you are not interested. You shouldn't lie but tell him how you truly feel.


You can always say "Thank you." It's a very special gift for someone to say he likes you. It can take a lot of courage. You don't owe it to him to like him back, but you do owe him kindness and courtesy.

And you can tell him how you feel by the way you thank him, too. Listen for the difference here:

"REALLY?? Oh, thank you, Joe!! I am so happy to know that. Thank you for telling me!"

versus

"Thank you, Joe. It's really nice of you to say that to me."
