Will hair grow back after Kenalog injections?

YES, your hair will grow back. In May 2011 I had my first injections (15 of them) in the very crown of my head. My hair loss was due to years of heat styling and relaxers therefore my crown was BALD. When my dermatologist saw the condition of my scalp he immediately knew what the problem was. He gave me about 15 Kenalog injections (the needle is so tiny that you can barely detect a slight sting) in the barren area. He also prescribed clobetasol propionate foam usp 0.05, minoxidil 2%, and I take 5,000 mcg of biotin along with my regular vitamins daily. My hair began to grow back slowly as my scalp began to become healthy again. At my follow-up visit in August, I received 25 more injections at my temples and front hairline areas. So today October 2011 and at 53 years old I'm experiencing hair thickness as it was in my youth. I have a great stylist who practices healthy hair techniques so that I'm able to still get relaxers and demi-colors.
