How have shops changed since the 1970s?

It is more standardized and there is more mass mechanise. Malls first began in the 1970's and when they started there wasn't all the same stores in every mall. Today it is the same things over and over. We also didn't have businesses selling Hamburgers and promoting movies as well as stores selling the shirts, hats, and other things for the same movie. It seems today that everything is connected and out to get our money. Very few shops carry different and new items like they use to.
