How is 'fear' defined?

Here is how I define 'fear':

NOUN

1) a painful emotion resulting from anticipation of real or supposed danger accompanied by a desire to avoid it

2) the danger that causes such a painful feeling

3) an attitude of respect and submission to a person in authority, especially a sacred person or God

VERB

1) to feel anxious or worried due to a perceived threat

2) to behave respectfully and obediently to a person in authority, especially a sacred person or God

3) to be doubtful about an outcome of a certain action
