E-gold can be bought with bank wires, checks, and money orders and then used to shop online in some cases. Look for merchants that accept paypal or google checkout. Websites like Amazon also offers an option so money will be taken directly out of your checking account. You can use paypal to send an echeck or have the funds taken from your credit card or debit card so the merchent will never see your card number.
