Why don't more black women and white men date or marry?

In America the stigma of such a relationship is still I believe frowned upon. In Australia where I live many Islanders i.e Tongan. Maori and Samoan girls do marry whites and is quite acceptable here and the marriages work out well. The stigma of a mixed marriage in America fall upon the child through their peers.
