How do animals habitats get destroyed?

mostly fires spread in forests etc and workers destroy the habitats for paper and cut down the trees.

Edit: Basically, Humans are stupid and think they rule everything. This can come down to big headed people/ Religions/ arrogance. Sometimes the Earth itself causes some loss also.
To build structures on the land.
