What is the difference between a notebook webcam and a desktop webcam?

Notebooks or laptops are much much smaller than a desktop and uses micro tecnoligy the harddrives are usally the size of a deck of 52 playing cards and is mobile. desktops are alot bigger and must remain stationary to operate properly, componets are much larger but better performace than laptops the size of a hardrive is about the size of a adverage novel.
